OUR AGE

God is mighty to keep us strong and youthful and healthy even when doctors say you are too old to be fit...

WORDS

Psalms 92, 13-14. "Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age"

Isaiah 40, 29. 31. "He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength... But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

Moses started his mission at the age of 80, Sarah was a beauty (kings wanted to marry her) in her old age and gained strength at about 90 to conceive.

Joel 2, 25 "And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten..."

Ecclesiastes 3, 15 is one of my favourite Bible verses.

"That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past."

The Hungarian Bible says: God brings back past things. or: God brings back what was in the past. God can bring back our youthful strength.

Hezekiah got 15 years more "as a present" and he saw a sign from God:

"the shadow returned backward ten degrees."

On the basis of this sign I believe that God not only healed him but made him more youthful. 2 Kings 20, 6. God turned back the clock for his sake- and ours alike! Hallelujah!
