Miracles

Jesus said that we who have the Holy Spirit living in our hearts are better off than those who lived in Jesus' time and were His disciples. John 16:7. 

What happened in the time of Jesus Christ? 

🌟 Lazarus, who had been dead for four days, was resurrected. 

🌟 A madman who had lived in tombs and terrified everyone and harmed himself - was completely freed from demons and became a peaceful man who taught others to believe. 

🌟 The eyes of the blind were opened, 

🌟 the dead were raised, 

🌟 the terminally ill were healed...

 We are called to experience God doing even greater miracles through us. Jesus himself said that we can do greater things than He did. Wow! John 14:12.

How is all this possible? It is by grace and the power of Holy Spirit. Christ ministered on earth for only three years. We have a lifetime to do that... There are so many needs in the world that we see in a lifetime that God will not be stopped from helping people by our imperfect nature - if we learn to rely on the perfection of Christ. In fact, God's power is even more evident in our weaknesses. 

The whole world was amazed at the Old Testament miracles. But the book of Joel says that all these were only like the early rain. Joel 2:23. 

But the latter rain, which is now coming, will be greater. The glory of the second temple will be greater than the first according to Haggai. (Haggai 2:9) The miracles of the New Testament must surpass the miracles of the Old Testament. Because the covenant of Christ is a greater and better covenant than the first. Hebrews 8:6. 

This is the nature of God. He always saves the best for last. John 2:10. 

So the miracles that we will see, if we believe, will be greater than...

 🌟The division of the Red Sea... 

🌟When water came out of the rock. 

🌟When the 90-year-old woman gave birth. 

🌟Fire came down from heaven. 

🌟A fiery chariot came down for a believer to take him to heaven. 

🌟Angels walked the Earth.

This is God's character. He doesn't want us to be nostalgic. Don't think about the old things, because He is doing much better now. We can only move towards where we look. Anyone who can ride a bike knows this. 

🙌I bless you to dare to hope for the brightest and most amazing future filled with the glory of Christ. Do not expect evil, loss, strife and poverty. But let every day be an opportunity for a new miracle, a more surprising healing, experiencing the goodness of God to a greater extent. May God-given, honest relationships, far reaching ministries, rewarding business opportunities, godly ideas, deep praise come into your life. 

I bless you that when this happens, you will praise Him, love Him more, and build His kingdom till the world is ready for His coming.
