HOW  TO  GET BORN  AGAIN?

Jesus' teaching

He said that repentance should be preached along with the remission of sins. This is how people can get born again on Earth and go to heaven after their death.

Luke 24, 47. "repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name amon all nations… " KJV

This means that these two must go together.

WARNING!

You are not preaching the gospel if you do not even mention repentance to people. They cannot grow in their faith if they have not repented of their sins.

WHAT IS REPENTANCE?

It means a change of mindset and heart. When a person repents of his/her sins, from then on sin is a terrible thing for them. If sin seems fun to you, you are not born again. After all, sin equals death, the wages/consequence of sin is death. Romans 6:23. If you play with sin, you will die. That is why it is so important that people change their attitude towards sin.

GRACE

Grace does not mean you have the right to live in sin. Rather, it enables you to LIVE ABOVE SIN, hate evil, and walk in righteousness. If you do not walk in this grace, it is a false grace and then you do not have eternal life. *

HOW TO BE BORN AGAIN?

In Greek, the language of the new covenant, repentance is "metanoia", which means "change of mind".

People are called by God to seek Him as their most precious treasure. But in fact, we also need God's grace so that the human heart starts longing for a change, for the good. It is a gift, that is, we have received it by grace, and this gift must be accepted and used.

2 Tim 2, 24. 25. "And the servant of the Lord should not strive, but be gentle unto all men…if God peradventure will give them repentance to the ackowledging of the truth..." KJV

How do we draw people to Jesus?

💥WITH MIRACLES, HEALING!

When people recognize God's love - through healings and miracles - then they turn to God!

Matthew 11, 21. He said: "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works, whcih were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes." KJV

💥 TELL THEM: YOUR SINS ARE FORGIVEN!

When people learn that Jesus has forgiven their sins, they accept salvation! (John 8, 11),

❤️ WITH LOVE!

When unbelievers see how sincerely Christians love each other and them, they realize that Jesus is real.

"By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." (John 13, 35),

🗣️PROPHESY!

When people hear prophecies and understand God's wisdom, they choose Him! (1 Cor 14, 24, 25),

"But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an uninformed person comes in, he is convinced by all, he is convicted by all. And this the secrets of his heart are revealed; and so, falling down on his face, he will worship God and report that God is truly amon you." NKJV

📘 THEY  HEAR  THE  WORD!

When they hear the Word, they will see that it is true.

So faith is by hearing, and hearing is by the word of God. (Romans 10, 17)

👰WITH  OUR HOLYNESS!

When they see the holy life of the believers, they also see God.

In the same way, you wives, obey your husbands, so that if some of them do not obey the word, the conduct of their wives may win them over without words, noticing your godly and chaste lives. (1 Peter 3, 1.2).

Of course, not only in a marriage relationship, but in all other relationships, it is noticeable when someone lives a pure-hearted, respectful and holy life, and people realize: you are different, you look like Jesus!

MY STORY

I thought back to why I turned to God back then...

💥I saw the high price believers were willing to pay for their faith. Even that wasn't too much of a sacrifice for them when their own parents mocked them and even disowned them from the family because of their faith. This is what I thought: If even then it's still worth believing... that faith is already really valuable!!!

🎉They devoted their free time to the Bible and prayer and chose the joy of the Lord over the "joy" in discos or pubs.

Seeing this, I said: If faith brings joy that is greater than what the TV and teenage novels are talking about - then I need to know it!

🗣️ I experienced that Jesus spoke to me through the Word, so I was no longer interested in what people said.

❤️ I was touched by the sacrifice of Jesus, His unconditional love and the fact that He gives His own Spirit to believers. 💥A part of Himself...God gave me Himself!!!

In short: I saw the believers' supernatural joy, love and care for me.

CONVERSION IN THE BIBLE

Zacchaeus' repentance is a great example. His conversion was indisputable because his behavior changed to the exact opposite. Luke 19, 8. He paid the people four times as much as he had stolen from them. When a person is born again and receives Holy Spirit, he cannot continue in his former sinful life.

It is therefore necessary for man to see sin in himself and to hate it.

Luke 5:32. Jesus: I did not come to call the righteous to repentance, but sinners

Mary Magdalene is another example of conversion: she also realized her sins and with a grateful heart, weeping, she wiped Jesus' feet with her hair. Luke 7, 47. John 8, 11.

A counterexample: The rich young man did not get born again and follow Jesus because he did not recognize the seriousness of his sin: the worship of money. Matthew 19, 22.

WHAT IS SIN?

John 16:9 says that sin is when people do not believe in who Jesus is. Everything that is contrary to love is sin. People can sin in action as well as in thought. (If we do not love people, how can we love God? 1 John 4, 20.)

CAN BELIEVERS COMMIT A SIN?

Perhaps you are now thinking, dear reader: who could be a true believer then? We all sin, even if we know and love Jesus. I thank God that he forgives our sins.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and do not have the truth. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and true: he will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:8-9 KJV

So don't worry, just be in fellowship with God and turn from sin when the Holy Spirit points you. (This is only possible by grace and using the Word as a sword.) If you desire this in your heart, if you are truly grateful to Jesus for who He is (Saved from sin, your Lord, He is Love...), then you are His.

PRAYER – TO GET BORN AGAIN

Heavenly Father, thank you for Jesus. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and He is the only way to heaven! He died on the cross for me to take away my sins and heal my diseases! Then he rose again in glory.

Thank you for this, for Your great love that saved me from sin, sickness and hell.

I accept the gift of faith and a new heart. I hate my sins, and You know how deeply I repent of them. Thank you for never mentioning these again, and no sin can ever hold me back from You!

Thank you for the gift of Holy Spirit, Your Spirit, Jesus, who gives me the strength to walk on the right path, so that I don't sin anymore. Thank you for declaring me righteous by grace.

I am Your child. I am freed from the slavery of sin and I am going to heaven!
