BILLBOARDS  OF  HIS  POWER

Our Heavenly Father is eager to show Himself great in our lives, in our bodies! Why? Out of love! And because we belong to His family, His kingdom. When people see His love and power manifest in our life, they will be all coming to our Jesus.

A BILLBOARD

Our bodies, lives are billboards of His power, unconditional love. We do not have to be better than others, we only need to allow Jesus' goodness shine bright through us. A billboard is not extraordinary, but its message can be!!!

THE WORD

"I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God's power made AVAILABLE to you through faith. Then your lives will be an ADVERTISEMENT of this immense power as it WORKS through you! This is the mighty power that was released when God raised Christ from the dead and exalted him to the place of highest honor and supreme authority in the heavenly realm!" Eph 1, 19-20. TPT

We can continually experience God's power, which is so great that we cannot measure it or produce situations too big for it. Jesus, we want to be the advertisement for Your love and power! Amen. We got Jesus' supreme authority, we share His honour as we are one with Him. John 14, 20. Hallelujah.

If we compare the other Bible translations with the TPT translation above, we can see that this part "Then your lives will be an ADVERTISEMENT of this immense power" is not in them. However, it is indeed there in the content of the original Greek text. Verse 18 contains the Greek word "eido". Paul prays for us to experience the greatness of God's power. eido = experiences, sees with physical eyes, considers valuable, is aware of, grasps a spiritual truth and transfers it to the visible world. When all this happens, not only we see and experience the power of God, but the whole world through us. (The TPT translation wants to convey the content, power, and passion of the original text, but is based on the meaning of the words in the original language.) 

SUPERHUMANS

The word "works" in the verse above is "Energeia" in the original Greek. It means: superhuman energy, superhuman activity, divine strength that positions the believer from one point to the other! God's power is positioned in humans! Hallelujah! Just imagine! We are in reality, in truth better than the heroes in the movies, we are Christ-like. So we are given the power that has already positioned us into abundant abilities and healing power and all we need for life and godliness. I pray we dare to believe who we really are in Christ!
