AMBASSADORS  OF  JESUS

As Jesus is in heaven, and Holy Spirit is in our heart and body, people in the world "only" see Jesus in and through us. 2 Cor 5, 20. We are Christ's ambassadors, we represent His kingdom on earth. The better people see Jesus, God's goodness, grace in our lives, the more Jesus is glorified. He loves us and wants us to live life to the full, raise as many healthy, godly children as we want - to His glory. Ps 8, 2. He wants us to have enough finances to donate and build ministries. He has provided for us to manifest and minister healing to others… God wants us to have all these now, as He wants people to see that He is a good and generous Father, He does not make us wait or allow us to lack. Ps 23,1.

DELAY?

How shall we react if healing or blessings do not appear immediately? I had a dream that could help us understand it. In my dream it was night and some people begged us to help them and let them sleep at our house. We said yes to save them from danger. But there appeared more and more uninvited visitors in my house. As they became burdensome, I asked them to leave and soon commanded them to leave. They were taking their time, moving out slowly, but they had no choice

In my dream the visitors stand for the devils work: bad habits, sickness, lack, delay, poverty… We must command them to leave and insist on our right for freedom and health, as our body and life are holy ground, the temple of Holy Spirit. Christ is living in us, we cannot tolerate lack.

DELAY IN THE WORD

Luke 9, 42. "And as he (Jesus) was yet a coming, the devil threw him (a boy) down, and tare him. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child, and delivered him again to his father."

The unclean spirit left the boy slowly, there was a fit, but then it left.

DELAY (a teaching by Curry Blake)

He likened delay to this situation: A tenant is told and is legally obliged to leave the house. But some tenants leave slowly and throw some things on the ground. It is a "strategy", the "tenant" is waiting for the "landlord" to say something contrary to the first command and wants to stay. Likewise, when we have prayed for healing and we cannot see it yet, we should not say: "Maybe, healing does not work for me... Maybe I have a sin in my life or there are some blockages to healing... I am not healed." These are lies, not scriptural. We were healed by Jesus' stripes - in the past. 1 Pet 2, 24. We should not be scared by delay, but at the same time, when we pray, we should expect immediate results.

A MIRACLE

Then I heard a testimony by the same teacher, which really encouraged me. He was ministering at a healing conference and was invited to pray for a man, Angelo, who was brain dead. He prayed and left the hospital. Later he was told that this man had died. People expected him to make excuses, like "well, the Word sometimes does not work"... But he did not say anything and did not get desperate. He knew God never changes and His will is always: healing. Hebr 13, 8. He prayed: "I am here to be your ambassador, God. I represent you. When people see me, they see you. I represent you, who is always good, who is LIFE, the HEALER, at this healing conference. I do not want people to see a God who sometimes heals, sometimes not. You are not unpredictable. If this man does not get resurrected, I quit." And he prayed in tongues for 45 minutes. He got to a point of rest, knew that all was well and continued to minister at the conference. (He did not even phone the hospital to ask about how the man was. He knew God's Word works.) Soon he was told that thank God Angelo got resurrected.

VICTORY

God wants us to walk in victory. If we see healing manifesting sometimes but sometimes not, the bad memories or the bad theory can discourage us and show a distorted picture of Jesus to the world. A good father is pleased with the good results of his child.

2 Cor 2, 14. "Now thanks be unto God, who always causeth us to triumph in Christ and who maketh manifest through us the savor of His knowledge in every place."

BALANCE

This encouraged me to persevere and insist on the right for healing. On the other hand I do not want to focus more on healing than on Jesus. No matter how many healings and breakthroughs we see, we are perfect and righteous in God's sight. I got reminded of Paul through 2 Tim 4, 7. Paul boasted of having kept the faith at the end of his life, - he did not boast of healings and resurrections. We are victors already now as we have Jesus, regardless of the number of healings we see. Jesus matters. As we are seeking Him first, He is manifesting the blessings as a bonus. Matth 6, 33.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, help us know our identity in Jesus more, the truth that Your will for us is to live like Jesus, follow Him. Holy Spirit, guide us into all truth that we really have this wonderful grace to heal the sick, resurrect the dead and be victorious in all because of the Finished Work of Jesus. Help us never back off but only speak the Word and continuously walk in the truth, in Jesus' name, amen.
